Ok, to make things a whole lot easier, ill make a translation guide for some common words, we Pinoys use., and to make it more useful I’ll include its Pronounciation ^__^:

Take Note: these are just the basic common words ^__^

(English) – (Tagalog) (Pronunciation)

Who – Sino (Si`Noh)
What – Ano (A`Noh)
Where – Saan (Sah`Ahn)
When – Kailan (Kah-Ee`Lahn)
Why – Bakit (Bah`Kit)
How – Paano (Pah-ah`noh)
Are – Ay (Ahy)
Because – Dahil (Dah-Hil)
Yes – Oo (Oh`oh)
No – Hindi (Heen-Dih)

I/I am - Ako (Ah-Koh) (eg: Ako si Batman / I am Batman)
Me - Ako (Ah-Koh) (eg: Bakit Ako? / Why me?)

You – Ikaw (Ee`Kahw) (eg: Ikaw yun! / that’s You!)
You – Ka (Kah) (eg; Sino Ka? / Who are you?)
You – Sayo (Sah`Yoh) (eg: Dahil Sayo / Because of you)

We – Tayo (Tah`Yoh) (eg: Tayo’y Isa / We are one)
Us – Tayo (Tah`Yoh) (eg: Inuman Tayo / Let us(Let’s) Drink)

Good – Galing (Gah-Ling)
Beautiful – Ganda (Gahn-dah)

Thanks – Salamat (Sah-Lah`Mat)

Thanks used in various sentences:
Thank you - Salamat
Thank you so much – Maraming Salamat
Many Thanks – Maraming Pong Salamat
Thanks to you – Salamat Sayo

“Po” - Filipinos use this phoneme for respect., usually included in almost all sentences (eg, salamat po / Thanks)
“Opo” – respectful way of saying “Yes” (eg: Opo Sir! / Yes Sir!)
